Lakes Business Park hosted their Annual Charity Golf Day to raise funds for ‘Eastern Respite and Recreation’ who is a not for profit, community based organisation that provides day programmes and respite and recreation services to people who have a disability.

A BIG thank you to all those supporters who have helped us to work towards building a strong community for women in business.

Whether you bought a raffle ticket, had lunch at our CafeSimeon, or donated prizes during our Fashion Expo week, you have helped women transform their lives and step into the workforce with renewed confidence, skills and of course looking fabulous.

Lakes Business Park is hosting their Annual Charity Golf day to raise desperately needed funds to go towards the Queensland flood victims“and our local charity Father Riley’s‘YOUTH OFF THE STREETS’

Save the date, Friday 8th April 2011.

Help us make this event successful. You can help by entering a team or sponsoring this critical charity event. We would appreciate any and all help that you may be able to give to help raise much needed funds that will be donated to fellow Queenslanders affected by the floods. If you can, sponsor a hole or tee box or even better yet, come on out and play / network with the tenants. If you are not a golfer, but would still like your business to be part of our Golf Day, you could donate prizes or promotional items for the winning teams or for the golfer’s packs.

This program will develop the required skills necessary to positively influence open and effective communication and in turn sales results.

You will practice powerful techniques to motivate and influence people to answer questions in order to identify their needs. This is achieved through a series of well-structured role plays which allow people to answer, knowing that it is advantageous for them to do so.

You will also explore the importance of setting the agenda through the use of a structure and discover the level of control you actually have when dealing with difficult people.

The program will help establish how to engage your client’s in a way that motivates them to at a much deeper level and articulate their true needs, requirements and circumstances.

These techniques will minimises any misunderstanding; builds the appeal of working with you; and reduces the risk of people losing interest, even when the information they are sharing may be technical or unpalatable.
